Right so this weekend I am moving half of my stuff into my uni house, so today i’m packing bits up into boxes and suitcases etc.. it  feels really strange. It just feels like im going on a very very very very long holiday! lol. :/ So tomorrow i will go to Norwich n collect my keys on the way to my house. The agency is just round the corner from where i wil be living for this next year which is handy!

I have made some booklets with my address on so i will be sending them out to people in the next couple of days.

Right so an update on uni stuff

So we went to Norwich yesterday to sort out the contract for the house and it was very successful. (: It didn’t take long at all so we had time to shop afterwards for bits n bobs for the house. xx

I have a wok!! So i’m going to practise using it tomorrow night when parents are going to Aldeburgh again with some family. So i will be cooking for two of my favourite boys… Luke and Nick! hehe. Sweet and sour stir fry sounds good i think! lol  ( that sounds about right – Luke = Sweet & Nick = Sour! lol…  and i will be the rice = boring! lol )

So all things are coming together rather nicely now..  Nick drove me and Dad to Huntingdon today and we were on a mission to get some boxes for me, a fleecy for Nick and we also had a bit of a de-tour to look at a few cars for Nick – all very exciting stuff! Nick’s a natural at driving tho i must say! first time i was in dads’ car while Nick was driving!  it felt really strange! lol .

Next mission is to start packing – oh what fun that will be! Although i will be moving in gradually from next sat so it will make it a bit easier- i will just take the bits that i don’t use everyday.  Means i will get my keys on the 4th! Then i will officially move in the weekend before i actually start uni which will be the weekend of the 17th as Freshers will be the monday 20th! i can’t believe its not that long away! but it s’all good tho! exciting stuff!

Anyways…

Right, so a week away with the family has gone by already and what a week it has been! sun, sea, rain, thunder n lightening, long walks, what more could i have asked for! lol.  but hayy, it was all fun!  Me n Nick have got loads of pictures between us on both cameras so i will upload them shortly!

i have to say though i will miss our long walks in the countryside of Suffolk but now we’re back i will just have to get on with sorting bits n pieces out for uni instead. 3 weeks today til i move to norwich.. eeekss scary stuff! but also very exciting!

Hello all,

Just a quick blog to say that I finally have my college certificates!! (: I’m really glad they say ‘merit’ and ‘distinction’ on instead of my overal grade which was pass!  In my eyes I don’t see I just passed, I actually  passed with some really high grades, so I’m really pleased!! I will scan in my certificates to upload once Nick has sorted the scanner out, now that we have Windows 7 we have to re-install a few things. I love having a computer geek as a brother sometimes! hehe

A few weeks ago, i had the idea to produce two canvas for my lovely boyfriend for his new room at home! (: I have just completed the second canvas so here’s a little preview! I really hope he likes it! I will upload an image of the first one i did soon.

Sorry for delay in posting a new blog..  some good news!

.. Looks like i won’t be sleeping in a tent afterall! I have somewhere to live in Septemberrr!! Its a lovely house, about 20 mins walk from the uni and town, it suits 4 people – 3 girls and a guy. The owners are restoring the house at the moment as the last tennents (all boys) were a bit messy; so a lick of paint here and there, a new washing machine and shower should do the trick! Apart from those downsides its actually quite a nice house – it’s located in a backstreet which is quiet, not much traffic at all just the people who live there coming and going. It’s quite a old ish house so it’s very cottage like. The bedrooms are a decent size with desks and storage for clothes. The kitchen is a really good size – bigger than the ones Nick had which will be good. just needs equipping with sandwich toasters and microwaves!

I have a 11 month contract starting from Sept 1st so that’s better than August which most of these student houses are. Move in date can be after the 1st Sept  and my starting date is the 20th! All there is left to do now is sign the contract and hopefully just move in! exciting stuff!

Well its off to Norwich tmro for some house hunting.. so fingers crossed! rather looking forward to being in Norwich again tho! hope its nice n sunny too. not like it was snowing when i went for my interview in December! lol.  xx

I know its a bit late in saying this.. but I’ve known for quite a while that i have indeed been accepted at NUCA – Norwich University College of the Arts! I’m relieved! So when I found out, I went out for a drink or two with my boyfriend, Luke and his work mate, Alex. I was rather pleased all that night! So then i found out a few days later that I had been declined for the Uni Accommodation which is a bit of a shame, however, since then I have been searching for houses in the Norwich area – preferably  near the Art Uni itself so I won’t have to take the bus otherwise it would have been more expenses which I DO NOT want! So now its just waiting for results of house searching.. :/ x

On other news, i have already got summer work from uni which contains an a5 sketchbook full of drawings which will incorporate colour and collage of things i like, i have seen, holidays, nature etc.. (: so will be off to cambridge with my boyfriend and his mum so good chance i will be able to get a sketchbook for this task. xxx

So apart from that, i’m rather looking forward to uni… never think i would say that but i ACTUALLY am!! i can’t wait to move out!! lol.

Other news…. we’ve recently had Nicks Graduation to go to – that was on wednesday (14th) – we were very very lucky with the weather for the pictures. Nick had organised a photographer for ourself rather than having the uni photographers and i have to say they were a lot better. So i will upload the photo’s for you…. hope you like..
